TRUST, RESPECT, ETHICS, GROWTH
Today's Grant Professional must do more than just write grants. We have to assist our client in being strategic in their request for resources, on who to approach, when to apply, and how to nurture long lasting funding relationships. We also need to know the latest research, trends in foundation and federal funding, as well as the latest in evidence based practices.
This five-session course is full of tips and tools for a successful career in this field. We'll start with where to find grants, at the foundation and federal level. We'll walk through strategic planning, which I feel is the fundamental guide to every agency. We will succinctly progress from week to week from completing an outline and a time task list, which is a lifesaving tool I use, to submitting in grants.gov and then managing your grant once it is awarded. See how positive I’m thinking?
As a federal reviewer, I'll share tips on what to leave in and what to leave out of your narrative. The handouts I'll share are ones that will help you be more productive, effective, and a happier grant professional. Through the years, I've learned a thing or two and like many of you, I'm still learning. I have worked in some quizzes to make sure our time is interactive, and there will be an assignment after each session so the folks at CD Publication can be sure you are paying attention and that I'm making an impact. As a grant professional, you certainly understand the need to evaluate, right? After all, we made sure you will get CFRE and GPC Continuing Ed Units for your time.
So, whether you are new to the field or advanced, whether grant writing came to you through budget cuts or a second career, I can assure you, there is something to learn in these webinar sessions. So, what do you say--- join me and let's have some fun.
