My policy: Due to concerns about the unauthorized sharing of client privileged information across Artificial Intelligence platforms, I utilize only the Grammarly-Free application to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation to improve readability of grant related-work and training materials.
 because i am professionally concerned about the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI), and Due to my involvement in the grant professional association ethics committee, i have been extensively researching and learning about the ethics of Ai in the grant profession.  i conducted this survey, as a consultant, in 2024, to better understand the use of, and concerns around the use of, AI in this field. the results are below.  i hope to conduct this survey annually as the ai field grows exponentially without many guidelines or regulations about its use. ​my sincere gratitude to the 175 grant professionals who participated in this survey.
