Cyndi is a Grant Professional Association Approved Trainer
I provide training in Prospect Researching, Diversified Grant Funds, Grant Writing, Ethics in the Grant Profession- including on the Ethical Use of AI (a VERY HOT topic, see testimonials), Case Statements, Strategic Plans, Logic Models, Grant & Risk Management, Federal Grants, Uniform Guidance and a number of other related topics. Trainings are interactive and practical. You can count on leaving with new tools and some humor for this important and often challenging and isolating work. I have delivered more than 50 training webinars in the past decade, plus additional unique trainings created specifically for the needs of my clients. It is unlikely that I will not be able to meet your professional development needs.
As a GPA Approved Trainer, I have trained at the New England Institute of Addictive Studies Summer School in MA in 2014 and 2015, at the Grant Professional Association Annual Conference in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2023, along with other regional and state conferences in NH and FL in prior years to audiences both large and small. I have been delighted to train at two AFP Conferences, one ICON and one in New England. With colleague Scot Scala, GPC, we provide a course titled "Next Level Grants Training" for the Grant Professionals Association. The training occurs once a month and is created for all levels of grant professionals, with over 55 user-friendly handouts that we have acquired and created over our careers. A class of 44 students attended in 2020, 90 in 2021, 94 in 2022, 62 in 2023, and 65 in 2024. To register for 2025: GPA Next Level Training Information
In 2025, Scot Scala and I are conducting in-person two-day training, a "Grant Mastery Mini-Conference", for nonprofits in Central Connecticut. Should you be interested in bringing this cost effective, comprehensive training to build capacity in your nonprofits and community based organizations, please email me. For Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth MA, I have been providing Community Based Organizations training in 2023 and 2024. It has been an honor.
One-on-one training: Many of my clients have asked for 1:1 training sessions for specific grant management needs such as a review of their policies or training new staff. These sessions have been extremely unique to their needs and have been conducted around their schedules. If this is a need for you, email me at [email protected]for more information.
